Mountain View police arrested a person on Saturday after he allegedly tried to hit a jogger after calling him a homophobic slur, police mentioned in a press launch.

Dispatchers obtained a name round 3:30 p.m. on June 25 saying {that a} man was trying to assault one other man who had been jogging on Vista Slope Hill close to Shoreline Amphitheatre. The jogger mentioned the person approached him and accused him of following him, calling him a homophobic slur. The person allegedly tried to swing on the jogger, however missed.
